Re: am i being wise Preparation is the key or you will waste your time, practice on similar gauge metal setting the welder up is the hardest bit to learn if it spits the wire speed is to fast if it burns holes power is to high plenty of gas and a steady hand think of it as stitching zigzag leting the wire fill the gap you may find it easier to do little spots
