On stock SRT wheels, which are 20x9", I would probably be fine with 245's (the set of RSA's I had were fine at least). With 255's, it is clear when you stick your fingers in there, but when you drive the car, the tires deflect enough that you can ruin the tires. Somewhere I have pics of what happened to a set of 255 F1 Supercars: The tread was delaminated and 'pushed over' on the face of the tire. 3mm spacers...

I would suggest a 245/45/20 or a 255/45/20 front tire since a 245/40/20 is pretty small. I think it would look better if the front and rear tires were nearly the same height with the rear just being wider. 295/40/20 = 29.3" 245/40/20 = 27.7" 245/45/20 = 28.7" 255/45/20 = 29"

I seem to have run into a brick wall with specialty companies. First SLP is vague on their exhaust setups, now I can't seem to figure out which spring part #'s I would use to lower my '06 Magnum and how far it will lower it. Can anyone give me some insight?

Yes, these cars have been known to have tie rod issues.
A shimmy when you brake can be an indication of warped rotors.
Get your front tires off the ground and grab your wheels at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Push and pull back and forth. If your tie rods are ok, you will not have any play or looseness. If you have a wobble or play back and forth, you have bad tie rods. (outer, inner or ...

OK so I went to the Enkei site and they say the 18" silver wheels are available in 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9.5 sizes. But you are saying you are going to downsize to an 18x9.5 wheel for the fronts... what size are these wheels then?
" hub centric rings". Pics or links? I have little 3mm and some 5mm spacers but I'm sure thats not what you are talking about. Or is it? My daddy raised me such that I...

Couple of questions for you. Did you you use OEM parts and if not what did you use? What was the milage point where things started to get noticeably "loose" and noisy?
By the way, love the Fairlane. Friend of mine bought a 4 door in 69 that came with "police wheels". Incredibly fast sleeper, used to pull the 10 bucks/3 seconds on the dashbord trick with it for beer money.

I am positive that it wont fit the front. You would lose 23mm of clearance on the inside compaired to an oem srt wheel and thats more then enough to cause it to rub the knuckle.

The aftermarket sway bars are going to give you about the same performance. It comes down to brand preference and cost.
