I'm with you 100% on the conversation friendly part of your inquiry. However, I'm not much of a beer drinker, so I'm not sure my suggestion will totally fit your needs. As for conversation, I've found Guthrie's on Addison to be one of the most laid back, low key bars in the city. If you're willing to go with growlers, just about any local brewpub will work for you. If you're looking for local options in bottles, then your list is pretty complete (although Piece would be out - that's growlers only). Would you mind please letting us know where this D&D Liquors is located? New Glarus does not distribute their beer outside of WI. I wonder under what circumstances D&D is selling NG Beer?
