edit: stupid auto-write completed the second option imporoperly, it should just read "no" I'm listening to all this hoopla about banks/the bailout etc. and it makes me wonder if the government enforced CEO/higher level personnel salary caps could this be avoided in the future? When you think about it, how much does someone really need to earn to support their family/lifestyle?...

I received a letter this year saying that I will not receive my full benefits. Social security estimated that 65-70 percent would be all I would receive. Now if that is all there is then that is it. However WTF am I supposed to think when I have been paying into the system since 1974 and now... When I am 50 years old.... and I am just now notified officially that I will not ...

Not who do you WANT to win but who WILL win. Pretend you have a 100 dollar bet in vegas riding on it. There is still about a month left and that is a long time but short of some kind of national security problem or the "black lie" (voters that tell poll-takers they will vote for a black guy but really won't) coming into effect, I don't see mccain pulling it off. Obama ...

Australia's voting in Federal and State Government Elections (every 3-4 years) is 'compulsory', ie we are required by law to attend a polling place in the electorate in which we reside and have our name recorded on the electoral roll as attending ( the first several letters of our surnames are struck through. We are handed a ballot paper(s). That ballot paper is an accountable form ...
