DPMS LR308. I've been considering an M14 or M1A pretty hard, but they're certainly not cheap. A pal at work has the hots for a new Camaro; enough so that he put the right price on his near new LR308. Being the nice guy that I am, I took it off his hands to help him achieve his Camaro goal. Before today, the gun had less than 20 rounds put through it, & its got a Nikon Buckmaster 4x12x40 mildot scope on it. Of course I went to...

I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that I could theoretically purchase the M&P15ORC (optics ready compliant) and then customize it with such things as a MAGPUL MIAD grip, MAGPUL or Troy battle sights (or an optic), a rail system and other such things... and another $500 worth of stuff. If I'm in a state that requires a fixed stock.. does that mean it needs to remain fixed, or is that just for sale from the dealer? So many...

I looked hard at buying a pistol..and still might...to register as a SBR. Other than doing that I'd buy the rifle. Guy in my carbine class had one...Pat Rogers said it was the first that ever made it through without breaking down. For a piston based gun, I've heard that in other places. Guy I know here has one that starts malfunctioning if you shoot about 1K rounds and don't clean it. Not everyone goes that long...but to me a...

I like H&K firearms, since I own a USP .45, P2000, P30, and a HK94. That said, they are some huge pricks in the corporate office. They've sued about anyone and everyone that has remotely used a similar design of one of their weapons. It's just ridiculous.

I've been doing some research on a few options including the M&P and I really haven't seen to many gripes. There was a guy here that was having some issues with the cartridges extracting. My guess is that his rifle may have a burr on one of the moving parts or some component that isn't quite right. Get some range time and give us a review! FYI -- S&W has a rebate right now on M&...

The gun that I actually carry is a KelTec P3AT though I would recommend the Ruger LCP instead. Both are tiny 380 cal pistols that you can actually drop in a pocket (in a pocket holster) & practically forget it's there. Even in summer wearing jeans & a Tshirt. If I was heading for a gunfight I'd take something bigger, but for casual carry I figure the gun I have with me is better than a big gun...

Stoeger is owned by Beretta, but i believe its kinda like taurus, as in lower tier. what are you looking for in a pistol? IMHO the 1911, xD and cougar are all different animals.
