Well it looks like the patch did fix the 1887 range. However, that's only single or akimbo. When you add on the FMJ, the crazy range is back. Seems they forgot to nerf that one.

Well, that was weird. Watching the Colbert Christmas Special on TV, a repeat of last year, and in the ad break is a FIFA 10 advert featuring Frank Sidebottom, a fairly obscure indie music personality from the UK from back in the 80s... I never thought I'd see his big oval head on national TV on Christmas Eve here in the US. This is very cool More details on Frank here.

Nice, thanks Dean! My conviction to keep the PS3 as purely a blu ray player lasted about as long as it took me to watch the opening video of the single F1 game that we got for my son to play.

Merry Xmas James.. Terry Beautiful Post. Glad that you have Joined our community, and have kept the James Memories alive even during this tough time for yourself and your family. These 2 months have brought this Forum together more and more.. James and Anthony are Truly missed during this day.. But their memories will be talked about for years to come, and never forgotten.

I think you'll find out that just calling it a "BR player" or another game machine is selling it short. It's amazing what it can do (Sony's commercials are dead on and a brilliant piece of marketing). In this age of cheap stuff, the PS3 was overbuilt and it has shown. I still felt I ripped Sony off paying $500 for this thing.

I'm not looking to start a flame war here, just want some honest opinions on which one would be right for my kids. We got the kids a new 32" tv for christmas and currently there's just a wii that'll be hooked up to it.

Oh man...that is terrible. Didn't know him IRL but... really, really sad to hear it! Strange that you mentioned Geometry Wars, I have still been gunning for a lot of his scores on GW2.

The only people that said anything negative about it were Mark McDonald and Garnett lee on the 1up yours podcast. At the time I don't even think either actually played it. Just saw it in passing, and made a snide comment. The game did get nominations for best RPG and PC game. It can't be that negative

I tried Castlevania Chronicles on my psp, wow. The lag was palatable, and while the game was poorly responsive before on the PS2/PS3 directly, over the lag of a slow wireless connection it was pretty unplayable on my psp

I do, whatever you bring in, they open a new box and exchange. If you do not bring the hard drive they take it out of the new box.

When powering it up, hold down the power button on the unit for I think 10 seconds, it will beep at you to let you know its reset itself.
