How to waste your promotional dollars. 1. Be a no-name company with no public profile. 2. Buy the jersey naming rights for the NZ Cricket team. 3. Don't spend any money on PR so that people know who on earth you are. Who or what the fuck is DEC? If they are that useless at buying profile, an enterprising sportsbike rider could hit them up for naming rights... (Providing ...

I miss the "Counting to 1000" thread immensely. So I propose a new game to keep us with too much time on our hands occupied. The rules: 640x480-ish images only (mods say so). Post an image as a response to the last posted image. No explanations allowed. It's ok to be weird, but at least maintain some sort of connection. I'm guessing that if pictures start drifting towards NWS ...

I don't remotely see how "vindictive" can be used for what is being discussed. Helen might think differently if these people all had to come live in a big halfway house right next door to her. I have doubts about capital punishment although it's very easy to be emotively swayed towards supporting it should it ever seriously come up for consideration. If prison terms were hard labour and ...

If anyone from the age of 10 12 15 20 30 40 came into my home, work or in public for that matter in numbers, armed and with the intention to demand i hand over goods, money, my woman, or anything for that matter I would take my hockey stick and not stop till only one person walked out of there !

N.Z is quickly losing it's rep as having hard working people.... 6 October 2008 The productivity of workers in New Zealand has slumped to almost half that of workers in the United States. A Department of Labour report out today shows productivity at the workplace is among the lowest in the OECD. The figures show New Zealand's GDP per hour worked has fallen sharply to just 56 percent...

We all know this is a fact nowadays, along with body modifications, but this article about visible tattoos in the workplace backs it up. Quote: WHO in the world gets a neck tattoo ? A couple of years back you could have narrowed the answer to gang members, prison inmates, members of the Russian mob and the rapper Lil Wayne. Then something occurred. In a ...

Quietly and without fuss, New Zealand's Kevins, Bruces, Trevors, Stephens, Andrews, Brians, and Donalds are evaporating from our language and school rolls, replaced by Jacks, Joshs and a whole raft of fashionable, made up and naff names. There is probably a similar list of extinct girls' names too. Certainly there is an egregious selection of monikers being inflicted on the fairer sex as ...

Well, I guess this had to come along at some stage: The 007s have gone forth and are multiplying!!! For those of you who need a picture, this is about how it went: XX + XY = ----(9 months later)------ So as you can all imagine, we're absolutely ecstatic...and a little scared as well of course. It doesn't help that I was made redundant 2 days before finding out ...
