no, no, and no. Are the forks cartridge or damper rod? If they are damper rod, slap a set of emulators in. $330 ish for the emulators, plus oil, if you do it yourself. Steve

Now that i have the ohlins on the back of the tls i'm noticing everything the front end is and isn't doing. (and no i don't want to spend any more cash). The main thing is that it ramps up real hard with a hard sharp hit or chatter, would a lighter oil weight or a progressive spring help? or just reduce the preload a little. it doesn't dive during braking and feels nice on smooth roads.

Bought a can of this today....... Instructions tell you to "apply sparingly to bottom run of chain" My (probably dumb) question is, what exactly is the "bottom run" of the chain? Sounds like they mean just the half length of chain between the bottom of the two sprockets....(which would seem weird to me but then maybe it gets spread by the sprockets...? Huh?) or is it the inside of ...

binned for the first time a few weeks back. stoopid as, was just about to do a u-turn in a drive and the front wheel slipped on some muck on the drive and down i went - hard! both L side indicators (of course), twisted the clutch lever, bent the gear selector and bend the handle bar back about 10mm. The handbar is still bent - but i plan to force that back using a pole as ...

Showa’s new Big Piston Fork (BPF) design, the same design used on the GSX-R1000 that won the 2007 Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race. Rather than placing a cartridge mechanism inside of each fork leg, Showa has simply lined the inner walls of the 43mm BPF fork tubes and fitted a larger-diameter (39.6mm) piston. This design eliminates parts, saves weight (720 grams), provides better feedback, ...

Ok on the right hand side of the bike theres a Nyloc nut, and on the lefthand side theres some castle nut thingy with a shaft inside it with internal hex like allen key. Nyloc nut comes right off, piece of piss. Whack castle nut with drift and beeeg hammer and its solid as a cock, so I quit before I break something. So how does the swingarm shaft come out? How much load is on the shock - ...
