I just gotta say, I dunno what all this learner ride bashing is about Dushy? Any learner ride I've been on has been exactly that, where we cruise at learner pace as a group. The rides where people have boosted off obviously weren't organised learner rides as such. As far as I can see, there is noone coming on the ride that doesn't see it as a learner ride.

gave up on insuring my harley when i had it when swann almost doubled my premium for no reason a few years ago. wasnt too keen on the $2500 theft excess either wasnt worth the $ insuring my trailbike the best quote i got for my $7000 motard was just over $500. decided it wasnt worth it due to the fact that if i crash it there isnt much too to fix (unless i write it off of course)...

Hey guys n gals, had one of these at my place last year too to commemorate the end of the university year and to welcome the summer. Im thinking a coro loop starting around 9-9.30ish from uni ending at my place for a barbie. There is plenty of parking space at and around my place for both cars and bikes so if you cant make the ride, you're welcome to come to the barbie. I will have some...

So, it's come to my attention that we haven't had any decent learner rides in a while. Even the carpark days are getting few and far between. So, first Sunday after exams I'll be running a lazy session through some quiet roads, likely north or northwest of Auckland. Will be L plate friendly, suitable for a first Ride. So if you've gotten the hang of commuting on your toy but haven't yet gone ...

Hi Guys, ACC is running a programme to help prevent injury and promote safe motorbike riding etc etc.. So on Thursday 27th November we need 15 bikes, good looking bikes to be on display in Auckland at a venue, there will be heaps of biker people turning up, and we need you to bring your bike and just hang around, what we need: 6 bikes - flash ones, so really only 400cc and ...

considering the considerable brake dive on those bikes, is it just the oil/bubbles passing though fork valves you can hear? hold the brakes on and squash the forks, see if that makes the sound AND/OR come to uni today and find me/squiggles Quote: Originally Posted by Squiggles 4) You ask me to have a listen, if its ...

You could just head south, follow your nose and see where you end up? Generally avoid SH1 on a bike. Bits to look at may include the Ohinewai to Tahuna Road. From Tahuna you have the choice of SH27 (yawn), chopping back to Cambridge via Morrisville and picking up the 'dams' road or jumping east and picking up the Te Aroha- Gordon road that runs along the foot of the Kaimais and on down ...
