Devin Harris deal?
Published (2008-11-20 23:38:00)
Hopefully this is a joke, because there's no way Devin Harris is leaving New Jersey. If anything, they should sack Carter instead, and build their team around Harris--three 30 pt games this year so far. He's a cornerstone for that team.

Leandro Barbosa?

Nothing against Barbosa, but I don't see a need. Bricky brings up a good point, that I didn't even think of. Besides, I think Salmons is a better player at this point in both their careers. The upside of course would be more playing time for Greene.

Potential Trade with Hornets -...

As an aside, after seeing the Hornets in person, and having John put the whooping on them personally, I am even more of the opinion hold their asses to the fire and say "give us Julian Wright and your #1 and we'll fix your swingmen mess by sending you Salmons. Creates on his own, defends, and will help keep CP3 from wearing down by just never letting him touch the ball."

Chris Kaman

First, I don't believe he's on block. There was one rumor about Charlotte inquiring about him and then that resulted in a flurry of calls from half the teams in the league, and my understanding is that the Clippers told them all they aren't interested in moving him. Second, if they were going to move him, they'd ask for a LOT in return. Way more than you are proposing here. He's one of the league's best centers...

When does Miller become expendable?

Čarolija : we are thinking alike - I am just not writing clearly. I did not mean that those guys would have be on the court at the same time, but rather they would be the core/back-bone of our championship team.

Devin Harris deal?

Their chances at Bron don't look too good now with the Brooklyn deal stymied, but the Nets are still on track for an 010 splash. If they want to cut salary, it won't be their starting PG.

I was thinking about how he has kind of been on the outs with the Suns fans this year because of his inconsistent play. What if the Kings were to offer a 2 for 1 deal in Salmons, and Douby for Barbosa? Not really wanting to bring him here to start at PG or anything because that's not really his thing, but he could play minutes there, and be a "new" Bobby Jackson type player. He's also ...

Pure speculation/ However, watching the Hornets again tonight against the Lakers, their lack of another player outside of Paul and West who can create their own shot and another ball handler outside of Paul is very apparent. In a trade that seems to make a ton of sense: Hornets get: John Salmons Kings get: Mike James (6.2 mil expiring contract) 1st round pick A similar trade...

I think it would be a great idea to attempt to land Harris in a move. NJ seems to be looking to clear their cap space. I also think his game might complement Kevin's really well. Even if NJ is willing to move him what would he be worth to us in terms of players. Bobby J and Douby work on trade checker if NJ is just really looking for cap space, Maybe throwing in a draft pick would tip the ...

As a Kings fan I would love this trade, but I can't see Dallas doing it. Maybe it would be better if you replaced Kenny Thomas with Mikki Moore. We would have a ton of expirings, and have a ton of room to get good free agents. Plus, it would give our young guys much more time.

I'm a new boy in that forum and I have thinking about a trade with Chicago Bulls. KINGS Out: John Salmons, Shelden Williams and Mikki Moore In: Kirk Hinrich (When he will be OK), Aaron Gray and Tyrus Thomas. Do you think that the Kings would show any interest in acquiring Chris Kaman this season? It looks like he's on the trading block. He would be a nice 3rd big to build around next to Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes, and he's only 26 years old. I like his rebounding, and his post presence. Maybe John and Mikki for Kaman, though there are other possibilities for a trade? Kings Out John ...

As much as we like Beno, it is obvious that the Kings have a problem at PG which reflects into the team's ability to finish plays and/or to finish games, in addition to overall decision-making and ball handling. The team has a promising nucleus of Hawes/Thompson/Martin but for them to succeed, they'd need a stronger play maker. In this sense, what PG would the Kings fans like to see on the...

He did great work in my fantasy team for stretches last year with his shotblocking. Elite level athleticism/shotblocking combination, and that type of intriguing play few bigs possess normally catapults even troubled characters into the lottery. That's what happened for Williams, Griffin etc. It's tough, because I really see 3+ bpg potential for him, but if he keeps pissing everyone off around ...
