I admit that this is very simplistic but if a man has a bomb and his intention is to blow me up, my instinct is to blow him up first. I MIGHT be able to reason with him but if his original aim was my annihilation it is unlikely that anything I will say will dissuade of his original intent. And then my delay might be the end of me anyway.

True enough. That just happened to be the first quote I could find on a reputable IT security website. I first became aware of the potential privacy implications when I checked my firewall logs after testing the initial release of Chrome for a while. What I saw prompted me to a) remove Chrome from my PC and b) do a little more digging. At the end of the day it's your PC and your privacy, so if you're happy with Chrome then fair play...

Interflug...I think you misunderstand my comments about referendums etc.We have never had one !! The 1975 vote was whether to stay in the EEC as it was then ,successive British Governments have never gone to the British people for a mandate to get deeper involved in Europe,which is why I say it has been done in an undemocratic way,I dont know if we could get out of it now without serious problems,but we sure could have done ok if we had not...

You first of all need to remove all the data that you want to keep from it.
Then set up a new partition covering the whole drive. You can do it in MS-DOS but you might find it easier to use a drive utility such as Maxblast (BUT it says it only works with Maxtor drives) See: http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.js...00dd04090aR CRD
