A trip via Fairford (to find it smothered in fog and little being visible) ended in a trip to Staverton, both for dinner and to photograph some light aircraft. Light was tough as the sun was quite low, but this is what I ended up with - I was having huge difficulty in ...

Apart from the weather, there was not a lot else going on at Duxford which is strange for a day before an airshow. The 'Black Cats' were already on the ground and the Hawk 75, Pat de France and two Tucanos were the only highlights. Apologies for the 'Arty' type shots Brian

Although hampered by the weather a very decent flying programme was achieved, many thanks to those pilots who took thier aircraft, the conditions were far from easy as well as to the IWM for keeping the show going. Lets hope for better weather in 2009. Thanks for looking.
