He says "A triple Brandy please . . . . although I shouldn't order one in my position really." The bar tender hands the drink across and asks "Oh why is that?" The man holds his hand up and takes a big...

A guy comes in to a bar and orders a double whiskey. He drinks it and looks in his pocket. Then he orders another one, drinks it and looks in his pocket again. This is repeated a dozen times before the bartender asks him what he is doing. He replies, "In my pocket I have a picture of my wife. When she gets good looking, I quit drinking..."

Wow - those jail times are quite scary! So what are the rules for being able to possess a "samurai" sword then? (I noticed that was noticably absent from the article - typical for the mass media ...) Are they the same as in the UK?

If you can spell the word correctly then an excellent resource for finding kanji is kantango.com. Actually it is a great Japanese to English dictionary for anyone. Then once you know the kanji, you can just image search on google for one that looks more pretty in terms of the caligraphy aspect of it versus kantango's very blocky/computer text style looking writing style.

She was in "Night of the Comet" and also on some soap or other, so definitely C-list but I liked that movie so I recognized her. She was charming and very pretty in person. I had a friend who had a couple of beers with William Shatner in the bar at the same place, said...

No problem changing Federations. The only caveat is if you are still a member of AEUSKF and move to another Federation you will have to get the signature of your previous Federations president in addition to your new sensei to test for rank until you register under your new Federation.

It doesn't have to be, if you want to use a shinai that is shorter you are allowed to, however, longer weapon equals longer reach and a competitive advantage.
