I've never seen a race bike with a "blocked off" intake system, and i have seen a few race bikes. Mine is not blocked off.
I have no idea what you're talking about.

2 quick questions
1. What's the best thing to use to clean the outside of a helmet? I have never cleaned a helmet before so I was wondering what should I used?
2. What's a good cover for my zzr600 that will protect it from the winter?

2009 Supersport Shootout - Motorcycle.com is a pretty good comparison of the '09's.
I don't have any real riding exp on any except the 6r, which I only have ~1500km on. I thought it looked the best, with the CBR coming in second. I really don't like the look of the r6 or the GSX in person... but that's total personal preference.

I was price shopping shipping costs when I purchased my last bike. I was
quoted 500-800 (from 4 different companies) from VA to CT. I would just
rent a u-haul, it probably cheaper.
