If I were you i'd get the Bar Ends, Frame, and Swing Arm. Not only it protecs your bike but it gives you the look as well.

i would get the swingarm and frame sliders at least. if you go down, the forks and swingarm may not touch, but if they do, its a nasty look that could have been avoided for a cheap price. bar ends, check around, make sure you get the ones for your bike. lot of them are made for after market clipons and are different size. with that being said, get the frame sliders now, if it ever falls you'll be glad you had them. swing arm sliders are...

Honestly In my opinion, Ive had no problem with mine Id stick with stock (Im pretty sure nothing is gonna match, lots of fabbing). If you want to upgrade, just buy after-market, its gonna be better than the 08's anyway, and maybe a little more, but the time, and money put into makingit fit (my opinion) Id rather just buy after market for my year and bike. My 2 cents

From what I read here, all you have to do is tell him how you feel. You sound like a mature kid. He sounds like a reasonable and understanding pops.
Good luck and safe riding.

I'd take it off and get a other. It may get under the forkseal on
compression in this placement. Why chance a leaky seal for the cost of a
sticker. My 2cents

2. Use your imagination. For the first time I modified an old chain cutter to fit into the spring spacer and had a friend use it, the second time I was alone so I used a ratchet belt ment for cargo securing.
3. Use the same tool (this is actually where you really need it). Rod puller can be fabricated pretty easily but I used a hook made of safety wire to keep the rod extented.

If you go to your local dealer and let them know what you can get it for online, usually they'll come very close to matching the price.
Try to support your local shop.

Umm, pictures? That would be a tremendous help, there are alot of bolts and screws and nuts around the throttle body.
And the easiest way to find out what parts you are missing and if you can buy them at your hardware store is a microfiche.

yes if you change the gearing to -1 +2 it will read off, these bikes are
off from the factory with stock gearing, you can install a speedohealer to
fix the problem so the mph will read correct with the new gearing

Exact thing happens on my 08' after I put about 5k miles on it. I just even out the braking by using the rear. But when braking only with the front It feels like a pumping on and off of grabbing. I have yet to fix it, don't really know what can cause this other than shot pads?
Anyone know what can be?
