sliced bread came out in 1928. I wish I knew how much money I would spend on bikes through the years, not that it would have changed anything. I might have picked better bikes to last a little longer

The good news is that the parts are cheap to do the fix..............the
bad news is that the engine has to come out.

The original setup was 2 vacuum lines going from the intakes, to a T fitting, and then to the underside of the funny gold colored can that sits on top of the valve cover, which is part of the air injection system. One vacuum port goes to the small fitting on the petcock, and the last fitting is capped off.
If you're missing the air injection system, which many bikes are, you want to ...

I let mine get a breath of fresh air yesterday. Took her to a gas station to rescue my brother on his Goldwing (couldn't get his gas cap cover open).
Now she is all comfy again in the shop.

I thought this would be an interesting question being how this is a Kawaski forum. As of today i own 7. If my local dealer gives me a little break (i buy lots of parts) and i sell a couple of the bikes i have now i will own one of those new 250 Ninjas soon! That is a sweet bike!
I think i have had a total of about 16 through the years from Z-1s to tripple 2strokers, my drag bike and a 66 1...

Visually, it's a match for my 636 shock, but the wrong color. So at a guess, I'd say it was for an earlier model 636, or a zzr600. You'll probably need an actual eye to eye measurement to be sure however, as almost every model uses a different shock. It's not like the 'one size fits many' auto industry.

That pic was a little scary Joe.
Not a fan of the shiny turquoise shirt and white waistcoat
I liked Terminator.
The new character was awesome, gave the story a nice twist, and Bale was great as John Connor, although since Dark Knight his voice has become rather annoyingly raspy.
Fantastic action sequences, i wasn't bored at any point through it.
Nice appearance by a bald Helena ...

On the one hand, I'd say if you've waited this long, what's a little longer, however, I do understand why you would be upset. If it were me, I'd cancel the order. If something DOES go wrong with the pipes, I can see now that each company will be blaming the other for whatever happened and you'll not get service on them.
