Tsukayu Patrol Bags & backrest
Published (2009-11-06 21:44:00)
I don't have a backrest but the bags came with a 1 inch spacer. In combination with the backet, they stuck out somewhere between 1 - 1 1/2 inches. I replaced the spacer with 1/2 inch one. With the backrest being used as a spacer as well, it may even be possible to not add an additional spacer. Hope that helps.

Honda Fury - Page 3 - Kawasaki...

I'll have to take a look in person. The tarriff on them should not be different than what Suzuki would have on a bandit, and I'm just not seeing the manufacturing difference to account for the price. Next time I'm at the shop, I'll take a closer inspection of it.

Honda Fury
Published (2009-11-05 23:29:00)
It's just been launched over here in Europe. Over here, its called the Honda CTX 1300, in the States you call it Fury. I must admit, when I first saw it in the mags, I wasn't really into it, small tank etc. But now I've seen it up close for real and I must say, it looks WICKED. Pity Kawa don't follow suit and bring out something along those lines, I think it would be a top seller, I'm sure the Fury will sell very well...

Isn't their top speed something like 45mph?
Something to keep in mind... test pilots refer to anything Russian built as "deathtrap".
Anybody remember Yugo?
The look REALLY neat... but you could get the same effect in a much better bike with some camo paint, a Vulcan 1500, and a sidecar.

In the jungle the mighty jungle the vulcan sleeps tonight. OK, I'll stop singing . Last ride for the season today. We've had snow ,winds, heavy frost. Time for it to hibernate till May.
Maybe I'll sing the blues instead.

Yeah, I have a standard washer as well. I guess my main concern is that when I took the plug out, I did not notice any other washers. On the plug itself there appears to be a smaller washer, but I am assuming this is the flange to hold the crush washer on?

I have heard his pipes after the debaffle, pretty impressive, sounds like aftermarket pipes. I have a meanstreak and debaffled it, his sounds alot better than mine does.

Folks, the nice weekends are certainly slimming down, and this Sunday's looking like it's gonna be mid 60's and mostly sunny. I'm thinking maybe a run down to Hocking Hills, or going the other direction, I've been wanting to go to the rock and roll halll of fame, but am certainly open to discussion.
Let me know what you all think!

Actually I dont think the Fury is that over priced at about 13-14k. Certainly not like an Accord

I came from having a Honda Shadow 750 and am much happier with the Vulcan 900 Custom. It does not seem that Honda is putting much effort into the cruiser line. Suzuki does not do much for me either.
I am interested in Harley and I like what they offer, but not going to spend the cash now and not sure if I would like it better. There are also some nice Yamahas that I would consider.

That is what someone told me long ago about riding a street bike. I had always thought that was a crock........I mean, what does dirt riding have to do with street riding, right?
Well, let me tell you about my little incident yesterday. I was heading down Main St to get on the I-15 south. I had just tried to leave a stop light in second gear, so I was feeling kinda stupid for a rookie ...
