Please upload the gsi log to the parsers site, not the avz log. Just like the first link in post #5. Also, temporarily disable Self Defense, located in Settings > Options. Run the PC for a few minutes while disconnected from the internet, then re enable self defense. Any changes noted with the issue?

QUOTE(richbuff @ 26.11.2009 10:30) 1) You probably don't need to scan again, just open the main program window and Fix Selected. Or: Navigate to AVZ_Quarantine located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP8\AVZ_Quarantine, and delete AVZ_Quarantine. 2) That was ok. Folders in that path seem to be hidden because I could not find them...

Hi, MBR.exe indeed fixed my problem. It seems that the trojan firstly detected modified my MBR and when I removed it Norton didn't fixed it. I just wonder how most of on-line scan or anti-virus package can ignore a so obviuos problem... anyway, thanks to dawgg and other who may also care about this session. Sincerely, Robert QUOTE(Robert Lin @ 25.11.2009 19:45) Hi All, The MBR.exe seems fixed the problem now. After I...

Reproduce the situation that you want forum members to view. 2. Press the “Prt Scr” key (usually next to the F12 key). 3. Open the Paint program (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint). 4. I guess the uninstall failed, after you ran the removal tool with Command parameters, and then running disablereboot file? Please upgrade your Windows operating system to XP SP3, then try again, and then post back about how it went.

Hi, I don't install any Trend Micro Program. I followed your procedure but it didn't work. The installation window showed "The installation ends prematurely because of an error." By the way, my IE 8 cannot be openned, either. Everytime whne I tried to open it, it just doesn't show up. I can see it in the task manager though. When I go to the content and click the connection tab, it ...
