Hi, I've just installed an application, Screamer Radio: it is a freeware Internet Radio player for Microsoft Windows. Kis 2009 rates it as Potentially dangerous, with danger index 100% (it isn't in the database and has no digital signature). Anyone has ever use it? is it so dangerous? I put it in high restricted group, but I can't listen to streaming radio with it, if KIS 2009 is enabled...

So I chose to apply a rule but how do I disable that rule so Kaspersky will prompt for action? I feel like an idiot, I know its probably staring me in the face but I can't find it.

I just installed KIS 7.0 and are having problems. Every time I try to open the program I get an error message " Kapersky Internet Security has encountered an errror and must close. This happens if I try to launch it from the start menu or from the system tray. It also wont allow me to run the protection or anything as it says that I do not have the "key" installed. I ran the repair utility...

Hi, I am using a trial version of Kaspersky to see if i want to buy it. When I want to suspend the program (for various reasons like installing another program), it tells me it will shut down my network and internet connection. I need these connections for installation. How do I suspend Kaspersky without shutting down my network?

I've freshly installed Windows XP SP3 with Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and the internet has been slow. The internet is fine when I switch off KIS. This problem with the internet comes on and off, it will be slow for several hours then it might be back to normal for a period of time then go back to being slow. Here's the getsysteminfo log: http://gsi.kaspersky.fr/lire.php?hl=en&amp...

In Kaspersky Internet Security 2008, I could allow internet access to Mozilla Firefox (or any other program)... But then I could click on that program and edit what type of internet access it can have. For example: I could ALLOW firefox to browser the internet, but BLOCK firefox from FTP Access , PROXY access , and other types of internet access. Any program could be edited and...

Can I ask when the fix for the reported problems in scanning multi-part RAR files is due? I, for one, am getting very concerned that this problem (widely reported) is not been attended to. The problem is such that I am unable to complete a full scan of my 3 computers due to the huge memory resources taken during the scanning of multi-part RAR archives. This is a problem to me ...

I figured I would give KIS 2009 a whirl since I have been using NOD32 smart security for quite a long time .....before that NOD32 antivirus and comodo firewall prior to installation NOD32 and all traces were completely removed and as I have read through the forum there seems to be quite a software incompatibility list associated with Kaspersky KIS 2009 slows my internet connection ...

Ever since I updated to KIS 2009 (454) I'm getting about 2 BSOD a day. I'm on Vista Home Premium 64, 4 GB RAM. I had KIS 7 installed before without having any problems. I didn't change anything on my system since and did a clean install of KIS 2009 (properly uninstalling KIS 7). I'm not running any other anti-virus/malware or backup programs. The BSODs only happen when I'm at the ...

Why I can't repair my network since i install KIS2009 ? I have tired to uninstall KIS2009 and install KIS7. When KIS7 is installed, i can repair my network. But when i uninstall KIS7 and install KIS2009 again, i can't repair my network. Is KIS2009 stronger than KIS7 ? Is KIS2009 use less system resources than KIS7 ? Just to add mine to the list of home network problems caused by KIS2009, I "upgraded" to KIS2009 recently and really now wished I had not. But, my saga has a twist. I am running a Dell PC and my ThinkPad laptop. Always worked perfectly before. Now, the ThinkPad can see only the shared docs folder on the Dell, but the Dell cannot see the ThinkPad at all. I have spent hours trying to ...

( Im posting because I have never gotten this result from ShieldsUp before with KIS. I already tweaked the firewall in KIS2009 to make it stealthed, but I failed the test because there was a ping reply. I recently switched from dialup to Alltel wireless access using a USB wireless Internet modem. I don't know how this wireless works because it's basically just like a cell phone ...

I've been trying to sort out this product now for 48hrs and begining to think it's the worst thing I've ever bought. My problem is this: Since installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 on my system AOL has become very slow, programmes just hang and it's impossible to access other forums I'm a member of. What can I do to sort this out? I was running Mcaffee before with no problems. I'm ...
