Thx for the compliment. LMK if your friend's KRKs exhibit the same behavior. Also, would recommend them? I'm in the market for a set of near fields and haven't really liked much of what I'm hearing at my local (st.louis) guitar center. ---- www.MySpace.com/FieryLungsMusic

My current setup is a home theatre system so i'm guessing it does colour in the sound a fair bit, also I have a subwoofer so I can never tell how much bass is really present. There are some switches on the back of the sub, it seems quite versatile for an entertainment system but really i'm looking for the truth so I can of course make a decent sounding mix for any speakers. I see what your saying about the referencing, I haven't...

George from Nile has an excellent video available (clips on youtube if you search). As for programming authentic blastbeats go it will obviously depend on what exactly are you aiming for of course. I usually go snare first then kick but swap it up so a machine gun effect is avoided in the one/two approach and also add triplet kicks here and their to accent sections with the aim to make interesting hats and cymbals hits which IMO pays dividends...

I cant open the files that get downloaded, it says windows does not have the right program to open it. And when I try to import the sound to the step sequencer in FL studio, nothing happens. I know this is probably considered a dumb question, but can someone please help me. Thank you.

I don't have an answer but I also just started using Scala yesterday so I'm interested in finding tutorial info. I haven't yet rolled a scale from scratch, but I did successfully export a premade scale as a .tun and load it into VAZ Modular. Nope, a balanced signal requires 3 wires for each channel. A hot, the inversion of the hot, and a ground. As this is being fed by a 3 pin 1/8" (Left, Right, Gnd) it's not going to be able to make a balanced signal. All that said, how long is your cable run and what are you driving the rokits with? ---- www.MySpace.com/FieryLungsMusic

These are the kind of sounds that are very short, looped and then bent extremely upwards or down. I tried to do this with soundforge but the problem is that you are always having to do this in multiple process passes, because that pitch bender only goes to +24. I ...
