1. In close range you are better off melee'ing someone to death then trying to shoot him. If you're not talking about close range, then it's probably a combination of weapons/perks and accuracy. I think if you release the aim button and re-press it, the target gets better zoned in. Not sure though, I suck too and hardly play.

Grew up playing Doom, Wolfenstein, Half Life, CSS and other FPS games on PC.
Call me whacky, but I prefer a console to a keyboard and mouse. I don't know if its because I've played console so much more now, but its the simple truth.
I like that I don't need to upgrade my computer every two years to play the latest, greatest games;
