Keep in mind, the starters won't be in long. So it's likely to be some relative unknown. I'm going to go with the guy I touted when I was watching TC practice... #84 Brandon Rideau He's caught a couple TDs, but nothing much besides that in the first 3 games. Tonight, he breaks out for 6+ catches. Backups can't effectively cover him. He's 6'3". His size/speed ratio is too ...

I have a lot of friends that are Bear fans and we were all talking the other day about the state of the bears and most weren't excpecting much out of the team this year but like all good fans this time of year had a little homer twinkle still alive that the defense could once again return to dominance and that the offense could be just good enough to win games. So my question is this:...

"You've got to stand for something," were his words. What do you think of that? Did it change your vote? (Let's not make this into a political discussion. )

The more I think about it, the more I'm beginning to believe that coordinator loyalty isn't a trait of Lovie Smith's just as it was Dick Jauron. In Dick's case, his stubborn support for John Shoop was his undoing. He also steadfastly supported Greg Blache, his other coordinator, who did an arguably better job. In Lovie's case, the circumstances are a bit different, but Bob Babich could be...

This is the dress rehearsal. Lets hope the offensive line plays better than last week (certainly can't do worse) and Kyle moves the offense downfield to give us all some hope.

Did everyone see Orton complete that 25-yard out route to Mark Bradley?!?!? The one he turned into a 55-yard gainer? I was led to believe by at least 2 posters that Kyle CAN'T make that throw! Physically INCAPABLE! But he did it!!! How is this even possible??!?! Did Chris Williams summon God to get involved? Was Pep Hamilton doing ritual Hindu chants on the sidelines? Or tossing ...

According to sources, the Bears hope to sign offensive line help this week. Oh, boy. Fred Miller or Ruben Brown here we come! Why not Jason Peters, JA? Too cheap? http://chi.scout.com/a.z?s=25&p=2&c=...%2f782808.h tml

So it WAS an injury to the exact same part of the back in the exact same way that caused people to drop him down their draft boards. Does that change anyone's views on the pick? When I suggested that this looked sucpiciously like a foul up on the part of the bears medical staff a couple of weeks ago, I was hammered for it. Does everyone still feel the medical staff is non-culpable?...

I kinda did when it was all over. Clearly, he was not mentally ready to play and shouldn't have been on the field. Without a doubt, he's affected by the decision that went against him. B&B suggested that he's behaving in such a way (not talking to the media, scowling around, etc.) that suggests that he feels he was treated unfairly or was lied to. I'm not saying it's true or not. We'll ...

For all of those who want to blame JA or even Chris Williams for his back injury, think again, God is to blame. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/New...?story_id=5 023 Quote: It was a little tough at first, but youve got to realize that God has a greater plan than I ever had, so this happened for a reason, said Williams, the 14th overall pick in the ...
