Pictures look good Glen, I have been in and out of Mickey's a number of times but that big one (Devil's whatever), I won't even go in it, it is BIG. Props to you for givng it a heck of a go.

We weren't pulling him up, we were holding the front against the rock to keep him from rolling back. Just needed a few pounds while he was climbing vertical. Even the fat guy on the end (edit: me) knew to let go when he rolled back.

If the group decides on that week, then I would be good to go, but its not my expectation. IMO further discussion would need to continue to pick a week that meets most of those committed to going. I was more or less curious as to how busy Moab is as far as making reservations and the like? Wally

After looking at the photos I see that the name is Devil's Highway Hot Tub. I made it out, but it took a liitle help from some friends on the end of a strap. On the other hand, I was able to drive out of Mickey's Hot Tub on my own.

Well looks like we won't be making it this time. We went out to play this afternoon and I found out my Jeep with the POS carb doesn't like the cold very well and is having trouble running properly. Oh well I suppose there's always a next time. _________________ Darrin S Toy--1987 Jeep Wrangler 4.2/AX15/NP231, SYE & Tom Woods CV, D30/35 4.88's and auto lockers. I would be very interested in going this year. I will have to stay on the less challenging trails, but it would still be a blast. John

Playin In The Snow
Published (2009-12-25 13:03:00)
I played for about 4 hours this morning, but them darn plows keep clearing the trails errrr streets to fast for it to last very long on a serious note I wish I could afford to go to tuttle tommorro, but money is tight this year, unlike last year were several of us did a pop up about the same time. (had a blast then so you all should have a blast this time) have a safe trip and stay out of the way of careeming vacationers and stuff on the way...

Can't go, wish I could. I played for about 3 hours this morning on the gravel roads and residential streets around here. Some ditches when I couldn't find the roads. I was lots of fun. _________________ I am thankful for the people who willingly gave their life for my freedom. Jesus Christ and the US Soldier.

I'm definitely interested, in both Colorado and Moab. I've only been out west once, but will help with any planning you want to delegate; you did an excellent job last year, but shouldn't have to do all the work. _________________ 05 LJ Rubi lifted & armored
