Do I keep the name????

I think that you it should stay as the Duke. Now if, on the off chance you sell it...say in 2 or 3 days, then you can let that owner decide on its name.... JK John _________________ 1997 Cherokee, 3", 32's, too many lights..

I think I heard something in background about black paint, but I had started reading a jeep magazine so wasn't watching it with me undivided attention and just the budget for one show was more than a poor ole ironworker like me could afford in a year ! it was a nice truck when it was just about done, but it was closer to a frame off totlal rebuild than a budget knuckle buster that some guy could do in his driveway over a weekend but thats...

Yah, David Stacy left the Truck show and went out on his own. That truck was basically rebuilt through the donations given to Stacy to build and name outright in the show. Did you get to the black non-glare paint? _________________ Mike Jagular7 Lnxa, KS

Now that you mention it. In the two bottom pics the two sets on the right are my old 44's still mounted on 12" rims and my new 44's. Didn't notice that the new ones are on a pallet and the old ones are on the ground. Guess they really grow when you air them up.

If you plan on wheeling it as it is, with the idea that your going to maintain it, then as far as I am concerned its still the Duke. From my perspective the creator gets to name it. To honor the creator/ builder, I would keep the same name. Suicide Sally is always going to be Suicide Sally. If you plan on building it from where it is, then you get to rename it. Is there some sort of "Jeep" or off road vechile etiquete on the...

None of those mods, by themselves, sound too outrageous. They have to do everything over just a few episodes, instead of over several years like most people. Think about how much time and money you have in the tug or duke. I would guess it adds up to more than what you originally had in mind for your budget.

Since C4C is over, anyone know which local salvage yards have several Jeeps? I am looking for some parts for my Cherokee, and the salvage yard out here (169 Auto) only has 95 and older stuff.
Thanks,
