Yea to put the kit in the whole rear end need to be dropped. You wont be able to do it yourself as it will need to be properly alligned. So you got qouted $450 for supple and fitment of the kit? Thats a decent price.

Go to to an auto electrician to have you battery tested, the guys at Autobarn probably only have limited knowledge on batteries. My guess is that the starter motor is the problem but it is just a guess.

MACE enclosure. Air is drawn from the cooler positive pressure aree in front of the radiator, behind the headlight, when moving. MACE enclosure uses a pod as it presents a l;arger surface area than a panel filter. This means more air can be filtered at any given moment, and is therefore less of a hindernace to air entry to the manifold. Plus - in the VT's theres a filler panel beside the radiator that covers a large air vent hole, cut it...

Throttle body
Published (2009-12-01 02:22:00)
It'll make your throttle more touchy, highly unlikely to do much of anything else. I put a 70mm on my 5 litre after a very long time of believing it didnt need one, just to see. I got Zero point Zero gain on the track

Throttle body

I agree completely with greenfoam. You might even be lucky and confuse the engine management system and lose power/efficiency. The computer fuel mapping is programmed to inject x amount of fuel at y throttle opening, and expects z amount of air to flow through the inlet at that time (there's a lot more than this involved, but keep it simple). If you change the throttle size, you change the air flow rate, and the fuel system is no longer...

Yes I've posted this before... but I'm more confused than ever now. I went to get my battery tested by someone at Aurobarn who used one of those digital testers where you need to enter how many CCA the battery is etc, it gave a reading for my battery 75% Good. According to the rep that's good, but is this true? I've been having starting issues, start my car around 4-6 times a day and 1 or 2 of those starts its like my...

use the SSBB method, suck, squeeze, bang, blow. These are the four strokes of an engine.
Suck is intake - CAI and good quality air filter, thats about it w/o forced induction
Squeeze is Compression - Head work, shaving and porting
Bang is Power stroke - Increase fuel intake and air intake will result in a bigger explosion
Blow is exhaust - get a good set of headers and exhaust to match the...

you can get some problems from your uni just from the work it has to do. this is the part that transfers the power from the drive line to the axle. with saying this the uni is not a hard job to do tho leave it to the mech if it's seized up (it will be a **** to get apart) should not cost to much
hope this helps

All the LSD's taker the same oil.
Are you planning to drain old oil from another car to put in?
For the prive of new oil i would recomend putting new oil in it, and not to forget the additive.
The extra box looking thing you mean the tag behing the filler plug then it should be LSD.
Probably safer just to jack it up and check properly as some people woll say that it may say something ...

DTC 17 is an internal fault in the PCM related to engine coolant sensor
DTC 99 i don't have listed
are you sure they changed the BCM and not the PCM?
sounds like you may have more than one fault.
unless you can get some test gear on when it faults it will be hard to diagnose, there are not many things that can go wrong that don't log a code
try swapping your fuel pump relay and fuses,
