i did this takes about 2 hours without instructions(don't think there were any when i did it) that includes painting them with silver engine enemal so the look nicer not like some ply wood stuffed in between the manifolds. kuz the copper gasket spray is a sealer it offers not heat insulation thats what the spacers do. so no the copper spray would do nothing on extractors except maybe catch fire?

It's very easy, I've never taken off the manifold before either and I was able to follow the instructions on my VE and had no serious trouble. It's bit of a tight space at the back but it was fine. I would probably recommend getting the spray that they use in the instructions though.
If I was in Melbourne I would offer a hand but there isn't anything you should be worry about.

theres a few, but i wouldnt bother with them until a mafless tune comes out as the airhammer (pod cais) will give you more kw and better fuel economy. Monaro was saying the maf doesn't like being too close to the throttle body, so wait till a mafless tune comes out i reckon...

I use fully synthetic oil in my ute but i plan on keeping it forever. If your only going to sell the car in another 3 years or so, someone else is going to benifit from the money your pouring into it.
I am a big believer in synthetic oil because the componets are alot better protected and the engine will hardly wear. the other thing is, since i have been running the 10w-60 I have been ...

yep there was a release of motor back in my06 VZ and VE that had a revised timing chain, ironically thinner than the original setup, there was batch of chains that stretched, so replacement of the 3 chains to another revised chain is the fix,
it was well documented on the tech sheets when it was occuring

Hey people,
I have had a quick search but cannot find a thread that helps.
How do I disassamble the dash to replace the dash tweeters?? The door speakers I have checked, and they are garbage, so I would like to change the tweeters at the same time because i am dead sure they will be complete dog spit also.
