I'm not totally sure about this- but based on what I know, I think you can do a lot to prevent it totally when you get pregnant again by following the Brewer's diet. You don't even have to follow it 100% at first, until you see a problem, but keeping your diet high in protein, and making sure you avoid white flours/grains and eat brown rice, whole grain bread, pastas etc, I think that can make a big difference! The protein is key!

Arnica helps lessen bleeding, bruising, and helps the uterus contract back to normal after birth along with some other things. It's also useful as a gel when you get cuts, etc in daily life from what I have read.

After the orientation at the BMBC your DH will feel very comfortable. I kinda tricked DH into going, he was not really aware of where we were going when we had the orientation, and when we left he said he could not see me anywhere else. I was a hospital transfer and my good friend had one at the BC and one was a transfer. They do have a relatively high transfer rate, BUT the midwives go wtih you and have FULL priveledges in the hospital, so...

Does anyone know the chances?

It is quite possible that she needed to be breech to be born. There is a woman on the ICAN list that had persistent breeches with external versions after her first c-section with her last baby she decided to let baby decide how it was born, and she had a vaginal breech VBAC. Her body just is meant to birth a breech baby.

I think your chances are excellent! Your body know what's supposed to happen - Your cervix has already dilated fully once before (and is now naturally a little more stretchy) I think you will be fine ! Just don't let anyone try and convince you otherwise!!!

I had so many with Brylie and I feelt guilty too - our Bradley teacher shared a lot of these with us. But I had one twice a week from week 30-37. It bothers me a lot. Truly my first initial reaction when she was born (She was basically dead) was that the ultrasound + Pitocin + Cytotec combo killed her

So I had my post term U/S today... "little" guy is measuring 8lbs10oz
But his fluids were lower than they like to see, although we still passed, not by much. So I was sent right over to L&D for my NST that I was supposed to have tomorrow. He passed that with flying colors. I did have an internal because I wasn't sure if I had felt some leaking or not, but it didn't seem like I had been. ...

Hi, I'm Shauna (35), married to Stefan (39) for 2 years. Next month is a full two years off birth control. No explained reason for our infertility. We've done acupuncture, natural supplements to boost fertility, used PreSeed, had medical tests done, etc. We have to figure out our next steps (IUI, adoption) and I'm starting therapy this week to help me through it all.
I'm a complete birth...

I think "exclusive breastfeeding" is only offering breastmilk, never supplementing with formula or offering any solid foods before age 6 months. I may be wrong, but that's what I always interpreted that label to mean. You can still "breastfeed" and supplement with formula, or give baby cereal at 4 months. It's just not "exclusively" breastfeeding.

I LOVE the name! I can't get over what a peanut he is
I think I posted some more graphic birth photos in the private forum because most of mine were not appropriate either, but I still wanted to share them.

can they even actually kick at 11 weeks? Seems so odd. It felt like a kick, but I guess it could have been something else. Oh well, whatever it was, I loved it. I've been super sick and I'm showing, so there is no doubt things are happening in there, but it was my first "real" confirmation that there is an actual real live baby in there.

My thoughts are EXACTLY what you said Cheryl (#2, hehe). In order to read, I feel you need to teach children how to put words together and sound them out. Showing them a word and associating that with an action or object is not teaching them to "read" it's teaching them memorize. I enjoy helping my children learn from the world around them rather than structuring learning activities in thier day....
