Taryn--do you give Levi his formula in a sippy? How do you do that as far as mixing, and how much can you actually fit in a sippy? I'm just thinking that we've got a couple of those little Nuby ones and I don't think that those will hold 8 ounces...so that just made me wonder what you do or if you had any other info to share there. Thanks!!!

I agree with the others when they say that the milestones seemed agressive... my first didn't ATTEMPT to crawl until 9ish months.....didn't pull up until 10.5-11ish months....didn't walk unassisted until closer to 15 months....she was just a lazy baby and was content to not do these things until she got darn good and ready...she was also a later talker....and now she won't shut up...knows all her...

I've been giving motrin. She's starting to sound pretty congested so I'm betting she's sick again. She just won't tolerate being put down to sleep either. Sigh, poor sick babies...

Firstly, congrats on DH getting a job and things looking up for you house-wise. I'm glad Kaeden is doing well. I hope he starts picking up with his milestones soon or you get some answers/help at the 12 month appointment.

Courtney I think her eyes might be on the hazel spectrum because they change every day! Some days gray, somedays green, some days brown. I also used the eye brightener on picnik when I photo edited for the first time so that might have changed them!

Hmm, you know, I've never had really strong feelings about the bottle as in "my child WILL be off by ___". My youngest nephew still has his bottle and he's about 18 months now, and well, if he's not still on it he has just very recently been weaned. For him, though, he never took a pacifier, so I think that the bottle is just more of a security figure than anything, kwim?

Good topic because I will be working on this after the new year...I think breakfast and dinner will be easy, but my concern will be trying to figure out things that are good for taking to daycare for lunch.
Right now it is easier with the purees because I just make sure I take enough oatmeal and fruit for the morning, and a veggie for around lunch time.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that, but I agree that you should try not to worry about it until a diagnosis is made. And I know that you know to put it in God's hands (which is always easier said than done). But thanks for letting us know about her appointment....we'll keep her in our prayers!
