Leaving for our trip tonight...

We will be MIA until next Sunday night. Tonight after attending our friends Christmas party, we catch the red eye (11:30pm) to Miami, then after a 2 hour lay over, catch a flight to Turks and Caicos. I'm just a little nervous about the red eye as we did not purchase a ticket for Enzo. DH said he would hold Enzo for the first flight, and then i can hold him for the second, but we'll see what actaully happens. We are staying at the...

I need some help ladies (especially the momma's with boy around 7 years old). My mom bought my nephew and Ipod shuffle for christmas and she wants me to fill it with music so on christmas when he gets it he will already have music to listen too. So give me your ideas on what either your 6-8 year old boy listens too or for those without what you think they might listen too. I really appreciate any input. Also going to post this in the moms...

Mine is the same way, and he's driving me crazy lately. He is always annoyed because Kaitlyn is making a mess. I was in the middle of cleaning up the kitchen the other night and he yelled at me because Kaitlyn snuck food into the living room. He told me in a rude tone to come clean it up. Everytime she gets into something lately he glares at me. Like I'm supposed to stop her, there are two parents for a reason! How hard is it to get...

Ethan is SO adorable with his expressions. I love that he only has 2 bottom teeth!
Also I cannot believe you are 36 weeks already. That means new babies will be coming SOON. Any closer on choosing a name?

Ummm.... Quiet time for mama doesn't happen here!! Aiden co-sleeps and Chase is down stairs in my room for the winter/pregnancy. DH works and is gone usually 5 days/nights in a row plus the evening he gets home usually friday he is up for an hour to eat and get cleaned up and then he is out. Then the day he leaves again he has to sleep before he goes as he will have a 3 hour drive to work ...

That's great news about Sawyer's happy moods and your job! It sounds like everything is looking up! It sucks that Sawyer's father isn't letting go of this. I understand his fight, but he has to learn to clean himself up before you can feel comfortable letting him see Sawyer. I'd be surprised if they let him have Sawyer visitations with the way he's been to him and you...and especially himself!

High: Ethan is just too silly today, he is dancing to everything and anything as long as it has a beat to it he is dancing. Another high is that I am done working for at least another year yay mat leave.
Low: I slept poorly last night and Ethan decided to wake up early and is already starting to get tired so is starting to get cranky and its only 10:30am way to early for a nap for him.

Ethan was like Matilda with not getting sick for a conciderably long time ( his first time getting sick was this past august when he got pnumonia so he was 14 months) It just breaks your heart to see them feeling so icky. I hope Matilda feels better very soon and that Evie doesn't get sick or anyone else for that matter. HUGS

Hi Jen, we've missed you!!!
Enzo can eat pretty big bites ( imo ). I guess it depends on what he is eating. If he is eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich i cut the bites in about 1/2 inch cubes. The other day he grabbed 2 cubes and put them in his mouth, which i was really uncomfortable with, but he ate them just fine. If im giving him cheese i cut them into small cubes (the size of my ...

How rude indeed! Does your little brother have any kids of his own? I think when people don't have kids and on top of that single, they're more inclined to be selfish and conceited. I'm by no means saying that's an excuse but they just seem to be more in that ego-centric frame of mind.

Xavier won't watch TV unless there is singing.....and it will only last for the length of the song.
Although he will sit for Trauma: Life in the ER, but that's only when he's winding down for the day, like after dinner/bath but before his actual bedtime.
