Is the original creditor coming after you, or have they engaged a debt collection agency?? If it is a debt collection agency, they are bound by the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act, which prohibits them from contacting any third party (with the exception of your attorney) for anything other than to determine your whereabouts.? They can also contact your spouse or any co-debtor on the account.? You can file a complaint with the Federal Trade...

H1N1 - Who's had it?
Published (2009-11-10 14:21:00)
Forgot to say that my ped still recommends the H1N1 vaccine because they aren't testing the kids who have symptoms so they can't guarantee that they are immune. JS did get his first H1N1 shot but it was only about a week before he got sick so it didn't have time to work. One of the peds in the group said that she thinks the flu is being overdiagnosed- the other one, like yours, is basically diagnosing any kid with high fever...

H1N1 - Who's had it?
Published (2009-11-11 09:54:00)
Yep, it hit our family too.? Mild case for me and the kids.? DH and I had it at the same time!? Just terrible when you don't have anyone to help with the healthy kids!!!! DH had a 102-103 fever for 9 days!!!!!!? Then it turned into double pneumonia.? Luckily he was on some high strength antibiotic and was spared having to be hospitalized.? But he was one of the cases where the H1N1 turned into something worse. Our doctor is also saying...

Thanks, Meredith.? I appreciate you taking the time to share that info with me! The story is:? we pulled our kids out quickly when our concerns about staffing were not handled, and ultimately one of the employees was arrested for exposing himself to a minor.? They continue to hound us for the pay for 2 weeks notice; which we did not give.? We did pay for every hour our kids were in their care- however they are now on their 2nd atty to take...

H1N1 - Who's had it?
Published (2009-11-11 23:45:00)
I had it back in June, while on vacation in Kauai...fun times!! It turned into a double ear infec, sinus, infec, and bronchitis. I have had pneumonia before and let me tell you I would have gladly had that again over this!! I had a 103+ fever, chills, all over crappy-ness. Couldn't sleep I was in so much pain from the upper resp stuff. To top it off the Tamiflu made me vomit, so I ended up loosing 10 lbs in 6 days. Came home looking like...

We have a couple of times. The food was okay and some of it was actually darn good. We haven't used it in a few months since we've been more 'back on our feet' - I like a little more control over the food I'm feeding my family especially in the meat department / and I prefer fresh to frozen veggies. But it was a good deal and we have friends who still purchase. - a nice thing is they take food stamps.

If you give a mom a muffin
Published (2009-11-03 08:43:00)
For those of you who have already read "if you give a mouse a cookie" to js and those who have not will still like this... If you give a mom a muffin, She'll want a cup of coffee to go with it. She'll pour herself some. Her three-year-old will spill the coffee. She'll wipe it up. Wiping the floor, she'll find dirty socks. She'll remember she has to do laundry. When she puts the laundry in the washer,...

My grandfather just passed away a few months ago and I kept it pretty vanilla for the kids (even my 6 yr old) i just told them that great grandpa was very sick and the medicine wasn't working anymore, so he went to heaven and we won't be able to see him anymore. Neither of them really asked any more detailed questions so we're leaving it like that for the time being. We will see all of our ...

DH had a real mild version # days flat on his back. Q has it. Temp going up and down for 6 days. Thankfully he's pretty used to high fevers and besides wanting more tv and stories has been himself. W and I as so far spared. I got the vzx yesterday from the pedi and I have orders for W to get him started on Tami flu the minute he gets a fever. So far it hasn't been that bad.

you just gave me the chills because I can't imagine having a 10 mon old and a newborn (wow!) I would think there would be no routine at this point...simply survival mode until the babies get a bit older.  I would try to keep things as normal as possible for PatJ as far as his routine goes (wake, school, bed...etc)  but if it were me, I would just be happy the babies were fed and clean. ...

Sounds great!  Thanks for doing this.  I don't think it is too early at all.  I was just thinking about this the other day.  I am in! You must be all ready for Christmas.  I seen you have your cards done.  I haven't even started getting ready for Christmas yet.  I did think about Christmas cards, but that has been it.
