I'm late to the thread, but for about $20 you can get toe-clips and straps. They take a very little amount of time to get used to 'cause you need to pull back a bit to release from the pedal. Run the straps loose at first and then tighten them up to hold your feet to the pedals. They mount to regular pedals. Power Grips are decent, too -- but look around so you don't spend too much. Very efficient, cheap clipless pedal...

okay, I thought this was like those sleds people hit in football. I guess the skis on the bottom aren't rounded up enough? this looks like a really cool exercise. Few times in my life I have had to do this movement. Once when trying to push my car from a dead stop off of grass, and another when I was pushing this giant pad across the floor both times, I was quite exhausted and my legs were seriously pumped. ever hear of some treadmill...

couple questions.. I have a pretty good size paved driveway. Does this thing chew up the ground? How loud is it? I'd like to use it at home, but if its noisy like mad, my neighbours won't be thrilled ;-) Thanks, Pete

Weight Scale Off

You could try a medical one. OTOH what are you weighing with the dumbbells? A 10lb dumbbell is much lower then the scale is designed for. Of course this assumes the dumbbell is 100% perfect.

I have done 2 more prowler workouts, both with just 50lbs total and just like I described above. Currently, I'm doing 4-5 days of HIIT or elliptical and 1 day/week of legs (20rep squats, RDL's, walking lunges). This amount of work on my legs plus the prowler has really kicked my butt. Prowler is loud but i'm only doing 30-40secs x 12 and so far no one's complained. The parking lot does not have much mark to it after 3 total...

Check out the Specialized HardRock - very similar, I have one as do a number of my friends. Great bike and VERY reasonably priced. I don't recommend shops or people lightly, but Orange Cycle and specifically Darren are AMAZING.
