Great flick. I love the visual gags like the vagrant appearing above the cityscape, the entire storyline from the time we see B uttle appear, and the humor throughout. Just remember, paranoia breeds confidence.

Terry Gilliams 1985 film, Brazil, is an adventure in sci-fi/satire with surreal overtones, a touch of romance, and creepily accurate socio-cultural critiques. Set somewhere in the 20th century Brazil takes on: bureaucracy as paralyzed by its own rules and regulations and inflated by its excessive power, the multiple perspectives of terrorism, the perverse gap between the rich and the poor, and a critique of technology as necessarily...

I fell in love with this movie a few months ago. Loved all the humor around with dark jokes like "Consumers for Christ" in the background. A movie about a model society that's not actually perfect, starting from the B uttle problem. Quote: Originally Posted by BubbaStrangelove Just remember, paranoia breeds confidence. And don't forget. Terminator Salvation (2009)
After Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was unleashed in 2003, many people thought it was the end of the beloved Terminator franchise. It was decided a reboot of the series would be the best road to take to pump some life back into it, so director McG was given the chance to do just that. The studio was counting on him to make it a lucrative franchise once again....

If you didn't like both No Country for Old Men and The Road, I highly doubt
you would enjoy the novels. Cormac McCarthy is a phenomenal writer, but if
you don't like his style (structurally and intellectually) then you're most
likely not going to like his novels or the films based on his novels.
