Get some Hornady critical Defense or Fed HPs and now we are talkin! The quality felt and looked very good. In talking with a different FFL today they had recieved only 2 and they sold quickly. He said he was impressed with teh materials and construction and confirmed the take down was the same as a glock. Picking up where Glock was unable to import their .380 cals. Sounds pretty good, can't wait to find out when someone gets one what they...

Not to confuse anyone, I have had this set up for over a year. Someone bumped a thread where I posted about the rumors of them coming out. So I figured I would follow up with a mission complete photo. I have put over a thousand rounds through this one. The round count would be much higher of ammo prices wouldn't have went ape shit, but its got allot of life left in her. I plan on getting the MSAR E-4 as one of my next guns, so that should...

Kimber vs. Springfield 1911s?
Published (2009-11-05 12:48:00)
I speak from experience on the Kimber I had a Pro Carry and so did a friend of mine, he still has his and I traded mine in on a Sig. The Kimber gives you a lot of extras for the money but mine was not reliable and my friend ended up taking his to a custom gun smith to get his to function properly. Now before I get a bunch of hate mail from all the Kimber fans, just because we had a few problems with ours does not mean all of them are bad guns....

Mossberg 930 Cleaning?

I believe that Choate makes extended magazine tubes for the shotgun. The gun shoots great, and has, IMO, less felt recoil than the 970 and 590 I shot. You should note though that, being semi auto, it will jam on low powered loads. Any full powered loads will cycle fine. I picked mine up for $451 after taxes.

Right there with you, brother.
Imagine how much damage you could share around with an 870 and a couple boxes of slugs/ 000 buck. Or an M4-gery, easy enough to come by and cheaper than an FN pistol. Or an XD45 using simple ball ammo.
The problem at hand has been shot and detained, for the moment.
The larger problem is not that a soldier in the US Army (who was displaying a ...

I had to take a few photos of the 1901 for another forum; the barrel is actually marked Colt DA .38; still can't decide if it is . 38 Long Colt or .38 S&W - the Long Colt chambers and extracts a whole lot easier then tehe .38 S&W but what an anemic round - no wonder we went to the .45!
While I am at it, here are a few more handgun/knife combos:

The
Irwin-Pedersen is the rarer of the two. Recently, CMP received a batch of German returned M1 Carbines that were used in German Prisons, by the Forestry Service, and other post-war (immediate post-war) German (broken down by Federal State such as the Bavarian Forestry Service) agencies. For the last several years they have been selling ...

Both are fine examples of a 1911. Either one is a great choice. I own the Kimber Stainless Custom II and like it alot.

I use the cheap shotgun cleaning kit that can be had anywhere gun stuff is
sold. It has a bore brush and soft thing. If it isn't to dirty run the soft
thing through it, and thats all. If it is really dirty, pull it apart,
clean the trigger group, the bolt and all, and run the brush through
barrel.
