Am I a poser?

I guess I'm a poser/poseur. As a kid I carried a fixed blade and my present slipjoint. I always used the slipjoint and the one time I grabbed the fixed blade first was when I ran into 7 wild dogs. But then I ran & climbed up a tree and sat there for over 1/2 hour waiting for them to leave! Nowadays I always have at least 2 knives on me but it's still the slipjoint that I go to first.

I lost a knife today. Arrived in an empty parcel. Not extremely expensive ($90). But nevertheless it HURTS! It's the new CRKT Ken Onion Ripple first production.

Living just outside of Chicago in the late Eighties, I was walking home from my second shift job at about 1 am dressed in business casual. I was in a shitty neighborhood and passing a bar when an asshole holding a blade walked out of the alley next to it and beckoned to me to come to him. I stopped where I was, flipped out my five inch Balisong and beckoned for him to come to me. He stood there ...

Strider SNG with none of that camo and stripes garbage WITH the same fit and finish and tolerances of the Sebenza.
I know you Strider guys can do it if you stop fucking around with the mall ninja crap and concentrate on your design a bit more.
For example, try to have the ENTIRE lock bar come in contact with the blade and vice versa, not just the edge!!!

But castaway was about an aircraft crash right? So you're not likely to have a knife anyway, 'cause you're not getting on a aircraft with a knife these days...
