Since I am locking my front (Dana 30) soon, I may as well protect my investment. What do you guys recommend? I like the looks of ARB's , but looks don't get you very far on the trails. I also like Blue Torch Fab's and am very interested in Poison Spyder Custom's new redesigned Bomb Shell . But before I run out and throw a Benjamin down on a cover, I want to hear from people who know ...

HI, All the advice offered here is good. Your wiring must be clean and and the connections solid. A bad connection can certainly cause the problems you are having. However, I didn't see mentioned here a cause that I had that produced the same symtoms as yours. The cause of my problem was an intermittant ignition control module. After I replaced it my intermittant starting disappeared. The...

I am currently running 3.07's w/ 31" tires (4.0 w/ 5 spd) and I've found a set of 4.56's for a decent price. Seems like a big jump to me, will this be to much gear for a DD? I'm planning on 33's shortly, but it may not be until spring.

I had this problem: Quote: Hooked up my new tow bar and on the very first attempt it seems that the wheels do not want to track left. If I tow straight, no problem. Turning right and straightening, no problem. When I turn left the front wheels sort of drag a little then go full lock the to right; just the opposite way they should. Repeating, to the right ...

90 YJ 2.5 I can not get it to go above 3500 even if I put it to the floor. At 3500 it sounds like it is completely rapped out? I can drop it down a gear and it just slows down and maxs at 3500.

so back in 06 i bought an 88 yj. the guy i bought it from said he has a 3.5 inch black diamond lift on there. i double checked him and he's right. so i drive it home and the ride of this jeep is terrible, i hit the littlest bump and literally get throw out of my seat. i have to take my seat belt off when i go over speed bumps so i dont get belt burns. well i did a search and came across ...

5th gear is out! - 4 new posts

Hey everyone, I recently bought a 95 YJ Wrangler which has no fifth gear. I was told that it was the synchronizer (whatever that is) or it needs a new retainer clip. Has anyone else had this problem? is it a easy fix or something extensive? Thanks for any info!!
