this bumper needs better visability in the main forum! The pictures were up almost a month before I saw them. I like the look, but without a winch mount, it'd be no sale for me.

LED Lights on Jeep Patriot
Published (2009-12-23 20:35:00)
No problem with the flasher, was wondering if I change to led bulbs for tailight and back-up lights will they then affect the flasher? Right now just the brakelights are leds with new lenses. I just found out after I installed rear turn signal bulbs to led, that the turn signal now flashes way faster, so I need to get an inline resistor at Kragen Auto Parts for $10.00 a pair. The LED lights are way brighter than the standard bulbs. Thanks for...

LED Lights on Jeep Patriot

There is no longer a flasher to change. Everything is part of the TIPM (totally integrated power module). Those built up LED modules don't always need a resistor but some do. If you aren't having any problems then it must be built-in (or it is not causing trouble yet).

Man, I was totally surprised that my window was frozen the other morning in -10C weather. Our Patriot is only 4 weeks old and I wasn't expecting it at all. I need to roll my window down at the parking garage every morning to use my pass card. Sucks when you have to try and open your door so close to the pass-card-reader-post... Gonna start blasting the defrost a few mins before I arrive to work in really cold weather now.

I've had a few light drops fly at me from the sunroof while in a autowash. It was so minor, that now, I just make sure the top shade is closed... no more drops on the head! It has never been enough to have been a problem. I have had a lot of water pour through the front map lights before. Only once, and never again. My Jeep was parked on a down ward grade, with the front facing down it while...

Don't quote me on this but I believe the load limit is for the roof rack itself. I took a picture on a road trip standing on the roof of my Patriot (so I could get the lane divider out of my shot). I'm around 103kgs. I didn't stand on the luggage rack, just the edge of the roof so I wouldn't dent it in.
When I bought the Pat the dealer told me that the "luggage rack" had a load ...

I have the drawtite hitch and it works great and was a really easy install. You can install it yourself and you don't have to drill anything bigger, and it fits without cutting a half circle like the mopar hitch.

Work YUK! I would have just said my car is frozen can't make it. I suppose this is a minor problem for sure. I would think that Chysler could come up with a material such as Silicon or something to solve the problem. I could alway move to Arizona or something an stop complaining I hear houses are cheap there now. LOL
