I was considering the 36's not sure if I can get a shop to balance them but they seem like a legit idea because 1000 dollars tires sucks when I would rather replace em every two years for 300 bucks

To the OP it will work with either stock wheels or the new one, the new ones will stick out a little though, with the stock ones you might have to adjust the steering stops slightly but that's not a big deal. Whats wrong with a 12.5" wide tire?

Guy I work who runs Nokians all year round (idk, he's not bright!) but
anyway, he has no trouble on the mountainous roads he has to travel to work
and back in the winter here in glorious SWPA.

My friends Xterrains were impressive on his truck on the beaches around here. 35x12.50 and a big silverado. Never dug, just pushed ahead hard.

Good Morning, I have a 1996 Cherokee Sport/4.0L/5SPD. How far can I lift the vehicle without having to worry about brake lines, driveshaft angles ?
Thanks.

My vote would be for the Toyo's if you're going to go with Mud tires. I'd also have them siped be it at home or have a shop do it.
Or if you were to go with an AT the BFG Dueler AT REVO's are pretty good on ice.

Can't say about the MT/R's but have done my research and installed a set of 315/70/17 Duras. They are well regarded and now that they are mounted on my DD I can see why. They are exceptionally quiet, do excellent with regard to hydroplaning, have tread block spaces large enough to clear mud and snow, offer what is perhaps the most aggressive all terrain tread pattern out there. Next step up would...

If you can afford aluminum, that is the way to go since it holds up better in conditions that require bead locks. However, make sure you are actually losing your beads enough to warrant the extra amount of maintenance (substantial) that bead lock wheels require. When I get the cash to convert my existing aluminum wheels to bead locks, I'll be going with what Champion Wheels makes. Champion ...
