Keely Smith was in Edinburgh at Festival (August 2009) time this year. She was with her daughter who was guesting with the great Jive Aces. Sadly because the show started late, then finishing late we had to leave before the end when I had hoped to have the opportunity to speak with her. Hopefully she will return next year and the chance might arise again. My number one female singer, absolutely fabulous.
