Hmm, by Jer, if you mean Jerry Englebach, then I agree wholeheartedly. Jerry is one of the main reasons I make sure to check these boards every day. he has always tried to be helpful to the younger musicians, and I have always appreciated his level-headed approach to discussions (as well as sharing his fundamental political perspective--its always very cool that there is at least one other person here who knows things as obscure as...

I've got a new girlfriend. She's been with me for two months and seems to be a keeper/stayer. There's joy in Spring Lake. She unwittingly locked herself in the bathroom last night. She was sacked out on the floor. If I hadn't had to take a leak she'd probably still be there.

Thanks to promotion and trailers all fans are warned that the film plot and the characters have very little to do with the original characters and stories. As far as I learned Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson act as equal partners in the film plot and - as a matter of course - there will be action and special effects . The trailer says it all...

The problem's not so much when they clean the streets but more the respect the French (Parisians in particular) have for animals and hygiene. I'm from the UK where things are a little too far the other way with people absolutely animal-crazy but here in France things are pretty lax. As for sounds, French for 'woof' is 'woah', so yes, I suppose they must bark avec un petit accent!!

Andy McPhail, the Orioles' GM has made some nice moves over the last 1.5 years and I do see them playing more competitive baseball (they've clearly improved their defense and pitching), but the AL East is brutal. The O's could win 82 games and still end up in the cellar. My hometown team (Phillies) should make another run. They lost Pat Burrell, but they're still look strong.

Oh, I've been a fan of Sherlock Holmes for quite some time, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's creation won't ever pass from the group consciousness. I don't know if you are in the US or the UK. In the UK the Rathbone films were released together, all of them, in a single set that can be picked up quite cheaply. In the US there were four releases - three of which collected four movies a piece - that...
