Yeah, I'd suggest giving ReadyBoost a try if you're keen on squeaking more out of your VMM subsystem. I don't necessarily recommend it to everyone since it's not necessarily going to show appreciable differences for average, everyday computing. If your concerns are about the paging speed, though, ReadyBoost does offer measurable improvements.

Did anyone mention the built-in speech recognition, yet? It's much improved over what was in XP, and lightly improved since Vista. Though, I'm sure Dragon's stuff is still better.

I think that it is without a doubt Microsoft's best OS. I wouldn't say that it is a monumental change from Vista, just a bunch of little things that add up to make it much better.

That is not a terrible processor, what is slow? (Like what kind of use?) (It is faster than my processor.)
Also what OS are you using?

I was invited to Wave and I have yet to find out what to do about it. I can't figure my way around it, much less imagine the potential.
Surely, I am open to any suggestions.

That is strange, but since I don't know a Mac...
Last time I had a browser issue I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it has been working fine since. Though I use Windows, so I don't have to take it into a Apple Store to get told the machine can't be worked on due to being in a smokers home.

Nope.
The issue I've had lately is that it's NOT allowing popups, even when I tell it it's OK. Haven't been able to figure it out, found various "fixes" on the web, but none seem to work so far. I've pretty much had to switch to Chrome. (this is on my Windows machine, which I really only use when I have to)

For Web Developer Express: The limits only apply to the development environment. You can create a web site with full ASP.NET 3.5 capabilities with it, and it would run just as well as one written with the Professional Edition on any given server.
Of course, there could be limits in your web server, depending on licensing and whatnot, but that has nothing to do with the Web Express development ...

Googling appears to indicate the n.exe is a trojan.
You will have to tell people who know Windows better than I do what you mean by "nothing much has happened" and then you can get some help.

For the first one, ask a savvy friend to cut you a linux cd you can boot from (say knoppix) - if that can see your hard drive then the problem is software.
For the second I'd guess that it works with some wifi protocols (probably older ones) and the implementation of the newer ones is buggy. Check the manufacturers site for updated drivers.

Have you checked the hard drive cables?
Remove and replace both (power and data) at both ends and give it another go. If you're still having problems swap the cables between the two drives to check if it's a faulty cable.

a quick google for deneg.org and looking it up indicates that it's really quite dodgy. That sort of behavior is common with malware, anyway. The standard repair method for Windows involves taking off and nuki , uh, reinstalling it.
