Well, I think it's cool and by some standard kinda useless. But that said a lot of times things are invented and put forth and it takes the imagination of others to completely find its worth. I think this will be one of those things, while I do agree with you that you can probably duplicate some of the sounds on a key board it will do it in other ways that perhaps a key board may not be able to match . . . of course only time will tell

Tele...I couldnt possibly tell you how much respect that earns from me. I know youve mentioned it in the past..and its one of the reason I consider you "one of the good guys" Family can be tough to deal with..but things like this have to be done. I know if I was in that situation..Id want a loved one taking care of me...not a stranger. Even if they are past the point of recognizing that youre family.....it still matters....

The only music technology program in my area requires a BS in physics before you can apply... that's BS. I think if I could take just a music tech course I would do it. I live recording stuff!

I've never had the pleasure of working in a real studio...I record stuff at home, on entry-level equipment. Sounds good enough to me, although clearly Shania isn't impressed... still haven't heard back from her.

I almost peed myself the first time I flew in a normal passenger jet. I have issues with being in vehicles I have no control over. If I could fly it, sure. If not, I'd have to get to know my pilot very very well. Enough to earn his or her trust with my life.

I plan on seeing the movie... isn't Spinal Tap loosely based on the story of Anvil? They have some pretty good tunes... I had an old K-Tel (remember them?) cassette called "Heavy Metal Favorites" (or something like that) that had two of their songs on it... I think it had the original "Caught in a Mosh" by Anthrax too.

My keyboard, who talked to me about this, thinks it's pretty cool, but I honestly think it's pretty stupid. I told him "you can do the same thing, and much better, with your synth. So what is this for?" He just told me "Nothing, it's just cool".

It's pretty cool when you can have a first studio experience that is free. Because there's nothing worst than trying to record when you feel the pressure of performing fast because the clock is ticking, and it means more $ on the bill. I had the same kinda luck. My best buddy and band mate was studying at Sherbrooke's University in music and had a class in recording, which means he had ...

Thanks for the warning. I need a couple pieces of 3in. pvc pipe. I could buy them one at at imie. Perhaps, I could make an extra trip for the glue. I will need a pvc pipe cutter, another trip. since I am not a MCDonalds fan, I really wont miss that destination. I do need the windshield washed.

I've seen her videos before. I think she's gotten better, but it's still ugly and loud and not instrumental. Just because someone kind of has chops doesn't mean they are a good player. She's a great example of that.

I thought a lawyer is supposed to that right? I don't think it would be rude to say that you think a lawyer is better suited to take care of such a difficult task and that if god for bid she were to pass the last thing you would want to take care of is the distribution of her personal belongings. Something along those lines should go fairly smoothly (I hope).
