I use something like this Optoma SVGA DLP Multimedia Data Projector (ES522). To do a 60" projection with a LED projector you'd need to be in a almost black room. To do a decent presentation in a darkened room you need about 3000 lumens, the lighter the room the more lumens you'll need.
