According to Judge Collyer, It is not a an easy decsision for THJMW to make and it probably will not be forthcoming in 1 , 2 days or 1,2 weeks. Maybe seemed to be her answer. Hopefully we get a decision from THJMW before or on Nov 24 omnibus. We'll see... ~Fish~

It would have helped if the FDIC didn't seize a solvent bank. They probably would still be running today just fine if they hadn't. Wamu Banks portfolio has done very well since the seizure and they could have withstood some heavy losses and things turned around had they not been seized. When discovery trials go on it will be interesting to see exactly how much WMI should own, that is if we ever get that far. JPM or FDIC might smarten...

Dont think Bonderman would want the commons cancelled. I agree with many who think he is the man behind the whole show. We'll see what the next Omnibus has to say..

It means, "don't worry, if any party FDIC/JPM decides that the fair value
of the bank was more than the originally recorded purchase price and if any
party decides to pay more, the shareholders of WMI won't get anything as
they are not shareholders of the bank. " They know they are going to have
to pay more, but they will pay enough to pay off the bank creditors, and no
more, thereby leaving the ...

They never got a chance to move the money to Pike. My post was written as a
theory which I will be using info such as yours and others to re-shape.
WMBfsb was holding the money, Pike never got it if I am correct. That would
be nice to know, because Pike is or is not a sub of WMI? This is why I
posted My Eureka Moment, Lets work on a good post to put up there, I never
intended that post to make it...

Wow!
So, JPM could deposit 1bil in a small bank that has 1bil in total deposits.
The bank now has 2bil in deposits. 1 year later JPM can pull their 1bil
deposit out of the bank....OMG a 50% run on the bank!!! Seize it, Seize
it!!! If JPM was legally allowed to do that....they WOULD do that to EVERY
bank they could! LOL Is there anyone that thinks they wouldn't?

Find the bids. I have them sitting right next to me, and you can obtain
copies as well. They aren't that hard to get. More from the letter attached
to the C "bid": "We recognize that our approach does not conform to the
bidding instructions for Washington Mutual. We believe, however, that our
suggested approach will in fact provide greater systemic stability and
lower losses than would any ...

WAMU'S GREAT LEGAL TEAM GETS..... " That is correct. That is the name of
the game, which is exactly why lawyers on both sides will draw this out as
long as humanly possible.

What happens if TPG doesn't get paid? They could have purchased more shares
before the filing of bk and before the trading order placed the
restrictions on the amount of stock that could be acquired, but they
didn't. Also, I would recommend reading the post below as it contradicts
what many here believe to be true about the kinds of shares TPG had.
