Judge Walrath DOES NOT want to make this decision in my opinion. She was probably hoping this would be settled by now, especially when there were talks to do so back in March. It's pretty obvious she has been avoiding this for a long time, I remember when a year ago we thought she would rule, lol. Either way, sooner or later rule she must. In the end WMI will be be successful and we'll see equity taken care of here.

I tend to think there will not be a direct payout to common shareholders if at the end of the day WMI is awarded substantial recovery and the commons have value. This would be a loss of a lot of money to WMI and so I think that the common shares will emerge from bankruptcy intact.

I don't think you have missed the boat at all, but I think we all have to do a better job of putting ourselves in her shoes for a moment to think about the POTENTIAL ramifications of this ruling. Something is preventing her from ruling IMO. AJest

Ask the lawyers and consultants. There are references to cusip #s in one of
the Weil bills. It's up to you to decide what they want them for. On page
77 of this bill, there are references to 382 analysis relating to include
transfers of escrow shares and redemptions, and transfers from escrow
account and cancellations.

Once you pull them up, you can click on individual issues of the Washington
Mutual Inc or Washington Mutual Bank bonds, and if you scroll down near the
bottom of the page, you can change the date range and then click on the
"show results" , and you will see the volumes and prices .

I believe that the ruling on the summary judgement can come at any time,
but I do not believe that the judge is "taking her time" or
taking too long to rule as others have suggested. I guess that would be the

at a point when crucial decisions could take this stock price much higher?

I did recall that you are in the legal arena in some capacity! I do not
blame you for being territorial so-to-speak, as you KNOW the intricacies
that can go on behind the scenes of something this monumental! I could not
even guess at a percentage, but there is ostensibly an abundance of
“poop” that the average Joe is NOT privy to in a case like this. I do
