Final thing. In private, I said an opex low, which we had sets up a pattern that might give us a very choppy environment for several weeks. Add in the Fed mid Dec. and that would just be another issue to deal with. Let's see how goofy it gets. Over N out for several weeks.

LOL . . not yet, but I do agree with him. I will be longer-term building Short positions starting on Monday. until then I've been Very-Short-Term Trading the Ups/Downs. We are at important Long-Term levels that, if not broken out higher, will result in a Big Downer. One has to feel that Mark Hulbert has read all these letters for 20 years and has says Prechter has done well in last two years. One also gets a different story watching the video you posted.

By the way I'm in one hell of a predicament. Currently 100% in my 401k program along with the wife GE which has had control of the 401k program is moving the responsibilities to Fidelity effective at the close this coming Monday. There will be a black out period for approximately 1 week in that no matter where our money is, it will stay there during that week. Today I had a chance to extend my analysis to include the 40wk and 80wk FLDs. Using an offset of 17 or 18wks (represents the lengths of the last two 20wk cycles, I get an upside target for SPX cash of 1134 +/- 47 points. If I take an average of the last 3 40wk cycles, then the offset needs to be 19 or so and this gives a very unclear upside target due to multiple crosses.
