I don't pretend to understand how to interpret the market maker or level 2 activity, however, what prices print on these charts is not just a result of a free, open market; many mechanics and manipulation is involved in the pricing. Many charts are painted and the footprints are there over and over. Is it mass social psychology on the chart or is the chart made for "working" ...

Darby- Notice that your line of resistance is EXACTLY where ARCA sits on the ask. The pattern is .033-.0368. ARCA moves from .036-.0369. It will not move above until ARCA goes away or moves up slightly to cap it a bit higher. A .037 tick is what we need.

I was lookin at this, I see it poped out of the downtrend line. with a rising wedge. And was hoping this would be a buy sign. I am horrible charter but have fallen in love with them. YAY!! GOLD!!!

Rising wedge rarely good for upwards moves. Typically they are continuation patterns in a downtrend. This is due to have some upwards movement, but the charts have established a firm downtrend with no reversals easily seen. Another blah blah close. Today presented nothing that changes the last update I have posted for GSPG on the blog - same patterns are developing, and the little possible reversal patterns are getting pretty mature. Just means a wait to see what next week brings.

Darby, I have seen this problem lots of times. Try shutting down the application, and re starting. If that does not work, call the customer svc or tech to report it. Sometimes they can correct the problem fast. Other times I have seen it take a week.

This is for the dreamers. I got a couple bars of bad data on my intraday charts - guess what the bad data high on those bars is??? 13.55!! Oh Weezie! Makes it impossible to use the intraday charts until I figure how to edit it....

Why would someone trade 100 or for that matter 500 shares. 500 shares amounts to $19. and the there is the com. What sense does this make if not to make a statement or try to shift direction ?
