"Anyone still considering buying more?" I would have today at the close if I was at my desk. Unfotunately I was out all day and I missed the action. As for the action today, I would not put too much weight on it because the volume was too low and someone simply panicked at the close and dumped those latest 71,000 shares at any price. I do not think the panic had anything to do with ...

Yes and no. This company is too good and makes a number of important products. Cox is a class act no matter what anyone says. bp

Very good! I guess that was too easy :). FYI, I don't have an investment interest in Aastrom I started keeping an eye on them because of their ischemia program (possible competitive interest).

Aastrom. You might like Geron better. Regards, bp

OT: Reverse Split A Biotech company I follow because of potential competition (not closely) had an interesting situation a while back. They bought up a reverse split authorization to prevent delisting from Nasdaq the majority of the votes cast were in favor the problem was that they did not get enough votes cast to authorize this. I don't know which is worse I would think a reverse ...

Cup and handle ... ,,, Bell book and candle With appologies to gg and the TA crowd,,I suggest a better model for GTC's PPS is that of a car on a year long trip. The car (GTCB) burns money in place of gasoline. If the tank holds a years supply of gas (money), then the PPS reflects what percentage of the tank is full. Naturlly as the car continues to run, if the tank is not ...

>However, why is that not considered public information that must be disclosed? Also, why would they want to keep it confidential?< It’s standard procedure for the SEC to allow confidential treatment of contract terms in cases where the contract itself is contingent upon such confidentiality. Ovation, rather than GTC, is presumably the party who insisted on confidentiality.

A little exerpt from an earlier Q&A with Cox: "If you collect plasma from all the donated blood in the U.S., you could make about 100 kilos of antithrombin. We can make this from about 150 goats. So, in very round terms, if you say a goat can produce a kilo of purified protein a year, this is equivalent to 90,000 blood donations". When the ACT story comes true, wich may take ...

I know there is some speculation among the board about a buyout between $1.5-2.00 but if ATryn is approved in the 1st qtr of 2009, what would the company be worth. Dew I would really appreciate your response. Thanks!! Crou, you don't need to respond b/c I'm sure you will say $50-$100 per share.

You make very valid points. I too am a long time investor and unfortunately I’ve been extremely naïve and only looked at the technology. I fell in love with the company and that’s a very bad thing to do if you’re an investor. I have not been objective; those who trade GTCB are much more realistic. Those who refuse to buy are savvy in that they recognize the financial dilemma. ...

Many speak of a buyout. Well of course there is the price offered but I would rather wait a few years. I can't give it to you in this post but ( read me first) if 1/3 of what is planned comes to pass in the next 10 years you are looking at a possible $50.00/shr. Would I be interested in $5.00/shr today, well off course but I dont think that will be offered, more like $2.00 ...

Oftentimes that is someone trading their own accounts. Selling to themselves. An example of this is when you want to sell in or out of a qualified account (ira). It frees up cash. 400 shares is almost meaningless on the tape.

That was an impressive bounce back from $0.52! At this point, and given the struggling market, I think GTCB is probably the best bet out there for an easy double by year-end... Frankly, I am surprised we are not already trading close to $0.7...

Trading question... The last 3 buy orders of 5000 shares were mine. Two of them were through Fidelity and one was through Ameritrade. All orders were placed for 5000 shares at a limit of $0.53. I also was watching level II and noting that there was a sell for 15,380 shares at $0.53. I first placed a fidelity trade and it went through at $0.53 and dropped the ask shares to 10,380. Then ...

Someone is messing up with our minds! First they take us down to $0.52 then back up to $0.6, then they trade some shares after hours at $0.72!!! Tomorrow's trading should be interesting...
