This may be an example of work from Deep Down's new member.......Multiple award winning animation and multimedia firm Digital Energy Corporation became a fully owned unit of Deep Down, Inc. to form Deep Down Design Studios in July of 2008. With over 18 years of experience in 3D computer animation, graphics, multimedia and design you have found a company that has the knowledge and ...

Shell Begins Shut-In Procedures as Gustav Heads for GOM Shell Friday, August 29, 2008 Based on forecasts that Tropical Storm Gustav will strengthen again into a hurricane and enter the Gulf of Mexico later this week, Shell continues to work toward a full evacuation of Shell-operated assets in the Gulf. Yesterday, Shell evacuated over 350 personnel from its GOM operations. ...

Tropical Storm Gustav will have more and bigger offshore energy targets to hit than the 2005 hurricanes did, should the storm stick to its projected path through the central Gulf of Mexico. In 2005, only two platforms produced more than 100,000 barrels a day; this summer, six are producing at that level or are preparing to do so. Since 2005, oil and gas production has increasingly ...

the oil from the GOM is primarily used to produce gasoline. GOM hurricanes typically have a greater effect on the price of gas in the US, especially the east coast, and not so much on the global price of oil. great article on the subject from this morning... http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/hurricanes-t hreaten-gulf-mexico-oil/story.aspx?guid=%7B41C8679 6-C1E0-4118-A532-...

I would have thought we would get a bounce before the weekend and Hurricane Gustav. Even the oil market faded to end trading today. I don't think the market has digested the potential fall-out from the storm and appears to be in a state of denial. If DPDW is truly a Hurricane stock we should find out by Tuesday.

the two Flotation Tech buoyancy orders worth $18m announced in May are for the Delba III and Delba IV which are already contracted out to Petrobras http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx ?message_id=30817144 personally i am not looking for the major producers to appear in DPDW PRs since most of DPDWs business is sub-contracted, at least for now.

imo it wont be long before we start hearing more and more on the flotation tech front, the contract dollars that could come our way are enormous and what that could do to the share price is take it to all new highs imo. it's inevitable as deeper waters are explored and more rigs start coming online, the demand is already very strong and growing by the day. here is a post that has ...
