When using macro AIM you need two things for an AIM directed trade 1) An AIM signal and a moving average crossover For a SELL the shorter moving average needs to be going from above the long MA to below For a BUY the shorter MA needs to be going from below the long MA to above So for a buy a you have been waiting and watching a stock go lower and lower. In using macro aim . The cross over event of long and short moving averages signals a buy or sell. I am confused over the cross over event. Assume a stock has been rising in price in the recent past Now the market has changed. The short moving average crosses beneath the long moving average. Is this the sell trigger event? Or is it when the short moving average crosses from below to above the long moving average is the trigger for the sell event.
