Number of possibilities as to the "94%" number. Could well be the design of the agreement with the gov't, taxes etc..     Probably a good question to pose to Wayne Andrews 'wayne.andrews@interoil.com' - at Interoil for an answer. msg 3288

Any possibility of having a DST for Ant-2 by Monday? They only had 118 feet of additional drilling to do. So how long to drill, trip out and set up the DST? msg ' + item.replyToNumber + '

Liquidity and Capital Resources Our financial position continued to improve during the current quarter. Our debt-to-capital ratio was reduced to 12% in September 2009 from 35% in September 2008. This reduction in gearing levels was mainly due to the conversion of $95.0 million 8% convertible subordinated debentures issued in May 2008 and the completion of the $70.4 million registered direct stock offering completed in June 2009. If they can produce significant oil volumes they won't mess around with a stripping plant - at least until LNG production starts.  Weren't we just discussing how using their own oil could save IOC a billion dollars a year?   I believe the early stripping plant only happens if oil production volumes are limited or zero.     msg 3250

Caveat: I am not an Oil & Gas expert - just an investor.   However, I do not expect the DST report until late in the week.  Here's my thinking:  they will first drill to depth ( 1.5 days).  Then they will need to do a full suite of wireline logs (1.5 days).  Then they will start the DST test.  Now here it all depends on how long they let the test run before shutting off the...

The article posted below appeared in the Post-Courier online:  http://www.postcourier.com.pg/20091106/frhome.htm    It appears Phil Mulacek/Interoil is doing heavy homework to have the support of the local entities.  Obviously this is highly recommended, given the problems that the ExxonMobil project experienced.    Connect the dots.   ValueSleuth   Gulf LLGs back...

"94% of the total revenues from InterOil’s project to the PNG Government would be derived from the production of oil and gas during the first 10 years."   Does this mean that in the neighborhood of 94% of all the resource would be depleted during the first 10 years or are there some complex time dependent financial arrangements on the table favoring short term prosperity over long term...

I think their slides on the last presentation or so showed Antelope 3 and 4 locations, but I'm sure it may be adjusted, based on further drilling knowledge.  I do remember Ant. 4 was to be with partner I believe? msg 3245

Do any of the long time followers of IOC have any comments on today's selloff? It looks like Antelope-2 news is still good. Is this sort of wild market action for no apparent reason typical of IOC? msg 3256
