the market has already priced in 100 bucks in earnings two years out in my opinion. plus, it's easy to get earnings in the S&P500 once they get rid of the dogs (AIG, FRE, FNM, LEH, BSC, C (diluted)) - i don't really understand how that is calculated once something goes out of the index. msg 150309

For those who go into the comments section, Barrie Harrop is an Australian who is pumping this windmill driven reverse osmosis scheme. I do admit that Australia has had some water problems and perhaps does need some ro. However, he is a serious left wing AGW moonbat. Apparently from the comments posted he used to run a digital photo kiosk scheme until recently. There are very few things in the universe smaller than his ego.  ...

Like AJ, I haven't seen the inside of a church for quite a while.  But hearing this news brought the words "rejoice rejoice" to my ears.  So I went and found the song. Words: Com?bined from var?i?ous an?ti?phons by an un?known au?thor, pos?si?bly in the 12th Cen?tu?ry ( Ve?ni, ve?ni Eman?u?el ); trans?lat?ed from La?tin to Eng?lish by , Med?iae?val Hymns, 1851. Those Dang Kids- Infringer | BAK...

<<Having smart kids really sucks.>>   Intelligence along with drive to accomplish something with it is all well and good, but a good heart and a good sense of humor are more important.  Kids watch how their parents live and pick up on it, taking the parts they like.  She obviously has a good sense of humor as she enjoys skewering her dad.    And dad, surely she knows...

Thanks for the tutorial, but it doesn't work for me. The little "hyperlink" button also doesn't work (for a long time it made self-referential links, then stopped working altogether). It's a combination of IV quirkiness, Firefox and my obselete computer. I spent time on it a while back then gave up. I may try again when I replace the PC. msg 150298

T-bill going negative and linking to Dubai is a good catch.  Hadn't thought of that.  Everyone was saying end of year balance sheet pillow fluffing. The manner in which Dubai announced the restructuring is particularly egregious.  Doing it at the start of the Eid holiday season, Thanksgiving in the States, it's as if they are trying to run away like a thief in the night. msg 150325

Who would Dubai's lenders be? Are we talking banks or bondholders? At a micro level, I would also think this isn't good for MGM. msg 150323

If you use Firefox and use the below add-on, you will never know when someone uses the hyperlink function or not.  The add on "link-ifies" it automatically.  No copying and pasting required.     https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/190 msg 150299
